Our take
I've been using the Breville Sous Chef BFP800XL for a few weeks now, and it's a beast. The 1200W motor powers through tough ingredients without straining. The 16-cup bowl is plenty for family-sized prep. I love the large feeding tube—it saves time on pre-cutting. The S blade does a great job with dough. Downsides? The two speeds feel limiting compared to some competitors, and the unit is quite heavy, making it less convenient to store away. Also, the noise level is noticeable. Overall, solid performance, but be prepared for the size and sound.
