Our take
I bought this immersion blender to upgrade from a basic model, and I'm impressed by the number of speed options. With 15 settings, I can fine-tune blending for different textures. The 280W motor is adequate for most tasks, but it struggles with very thick mixtures. The 25 oz capacity is fine for small batches, but for larger quantities, you'll need to work in batches. The control grip is comfortable, but the plastic components feel a bit flimsy. For $148, it's a good value if you need precise speed control, but don't expect commercial-grade power.
