Our take
The Breville whisk gearbox is a useful add-on if you want to whip cream or beat eggs with your BSB530XL hand blender. It snaps onto the motor head securely and the whisk attachment works reasonably well for light tasks. The plastic gearbox feels a bit lightweight, and I have concerns about long-term durability, especially with thick batters. At $15, it's inexpensive, but it's only for occasional use. For heavy whisking, a stand mixer would be more reliable.
